I thought I’d do a toddler Autumn clothing haul. Carson, being 17 months had absolutely no clothes to go into Autumn/Winter, not a thing from last year will fit him. He will get some smarter clothes and a new coat for Christmas, but I wanted to get a few things to tide him over, mainly comfy clothes that he can play indoors in. Shorts and T-shirts are nice and easy in the summer, and joggers are perfect for being cosy and warm when the weather turns.
It’s been a bit tricky the last few weeks as we’ve had a real mix of slightly cool weather, and some really warm bordering hot days. So I left it until this week when I thought it best to get him a few outfits.
I love this jumper, I think Carson will look very cheeky in it. It’s lovely and soft and will look nice and casual with jeans. It was £11 from Next.
I thought the colour of these jeans would go perfect with the jumper, they’re a skinny fit but nice soft material. They were £12 from Next.
I fell in love with this little hat, We put it on Carson in the shop and he kept it on, but as soon as we were outside he wanted to take it off, but there is a little strap underneath you can use to stop them pulling it off. I got it in age 3-4 as the smaller ones were just a little on the snug side, maybe Carson just has a big head. It was £10 from Next.
Mothercare had some lovely clothes. I really like the Jools Oliver Little Bird range but James just wasn’t overly keen, he liked it for girls but not boys. We got him some plain joggers and jumpers, they were £7 each item or 2 for £12, and they had lots of different colours Orange, Black, Blue, Light Grey, Dark Grey and Maroon. We got Orange.
We then went to JD Sports, he had a couple of NIKE tracksuits last year and the quality was really good. I washed and washed them and they never faded or went bobbly so we got him another one pretty similar to last years. Again the material is really soft and comfy to play in.
So he has these four outfits for now, and a couple of football kits and warmer longer shorts and tops for milder days. He has a summer jacket and rain mac, but if it turns really cold I’ll just put him in his winter coat before Christmas.
See you soon
