It’s The Easter Holidays

Yey! It’s the Easter Holidays. Well it will be at 2pm when the twins finish school, and I’m so glad. To not have to rush out the bed for 2 weeks if nothing else haha.

Easter has so much meaning for us now and is one of our favourite holidays. I guess it’s because there’s so many memories of my mum attached to this time of year. Her birthday is April 10th, and honestly I have never met anyone else who loved their birthday as much as my mum. It didn’t matter how old she got. When she knew Carson was due in April, the first thing she said was “He’ll have the best birthday month!” haha, that made me laugh.

And of course she died on 24th April, the day after Carson was born. We love the whole meaning of Easter and what it represents. New beginnings.

So what are we doing, well we’re off to London for a few days. We haven’t seen my sister and niece for a year, so it will be nice to catch up.

We have a few days out planned including Madame Tussauds which the kids are really looking forward too. A nice little surprise day out planned for the kids as well which I know they’re gonna love.

The following week the girls have their first dance competition, It’s over four days, but their group dance is on the last day with the awards. They have a couple of rehearsals too.

Finally at the end of the holidays is Easter, which I don’t need to tell you, will include chocolate, egg hunt, more chocolate, decorating the house, a nice Easter dinner, lots more chocolate, hopefully some nice weather, and oh did I mention a truckload of CHOCOLATE !!!  hahaha.

See you soon

Shopping for me is something I do every once in a while and is a great way of giving you some much needed self-care around the Easter holidays.
